Competitions

The tradition of university competitions comes from ancient Rome, appearing with Marcus Verrius Flaccus, prominent in the mathematical olympiads. With the objective of approaching the students and encouraging in the search of practical knowledge.

Currently, competitions are extremely widespread, especially in the United States and Europe where there is a consolidated competition model with fixed events and an annual calendar of university disputes.
