Antares II

     Second robot built by the team. The aim was to participate in the 14th Winter Challenge, an event that took place at the Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia, in São Caetano do Sul - SP.

     The Antares II came as an improved version of the Antares I. With a new system of locomotion, electric and modification in the shape of the rotating shield. The Antares II has not yet participated in any competition, but was present in the 14th Winter Challenge.

    It has 25.00 Kg, its shield has 8Kg and rotates at 1000 rpm, its main controller is an Arduino Uno. It is powered by 3 batteries, one for the locomotion and two for to power the starter motor that makes the movement of the shield.
